I love watching the ocean tides flow in & out of the shore line, as it reminds me of the ocean breathing in fresh air and if you listen closely...the sound is so peaceful. Tranquility, mindfulness, serenity, peace, love, and joy are the feelings I instantly tap into when at the beach. Our feelings are what magnetically attracts the people, places, and things that come into our lives--therefore I am always aware of mines & shifting them for more positive attractions.

Being by the ocean helps me to meditate better! It's much easier to get into my quiet place because the sound of the ocean is far greater yet louder than any surrounding distractions, all I can hear are the tides.

As I look out into the ocean, the water is so infinite just like our spirits. We are human "beings" therefore in the afterlife we will always "be" (our spirits) . Nature is so beautiful, and I like to think of God as the perfect designer, when you truly take a look around... nature it's literally a painting! For me revisiting nature is so necessary because it keeps me refreshed & balanced. It continuously helps me to discern the important from the unimportant. Things like my joy, great health, family, friends, love, and life itself are at the top of my most important list. It's so crucial that we as human beings take the time out to replenish our minds, body, spirit, and energy daily in this world if we want to persevere and keep living a great life. We must all learn how to get into the flow of limiting our stress during life's challenges and understand that challenges will come, however it's the way we react and how we handle them in order to limit unnecessary baggage.

Many people say it's hard for them to meditate or hard to get into a quiet place, but I believe that sometimes if you can not quiet the mind or focus...maybe it's best to tackle each thought that comes into your mind as you try to meditate. Start by understanding yourself first and why these thoughts are occurring during meditation, then at that point may you be able to discard the unimportant and focus on what matters most! Sometimes when my mind wonders (because of course this happens as our minds can think of a billion things at once), I like to set a specific affirmation and focus simply on that. At times I often fall asleep while meditating and during sleep, my subconscious mind is still working yet focusing on that one thought that when I awake my feelings are in a pleasant state ! Working on the minds and feeding it with goodness as a daily replenisher does wonders for the soul, and I want to remind all of you that- replenishing our minds is no one time thing & then we are fixed, Nope...it's something that should be done daily just as we shower daily...in order to be at our best!) 

Love is truly a healing force and giving this type of love to ourselves through meditation, and connecting with nature, God, & those around us will truly make for a better living. Life is beautiful, no matter the pain we all endure...there's always far greater things ahead than anything we leave behind us, so continue to let go & love your own, XO- CityStyleBritt!
