Ways to Practice Gratitude
As I've mentioned on my Instagram if you're following me there, I intentionally start each day with an abundance of gratitude in my heart. I literally speak each day something different that I am grateful for---not only does it set the tone for my day, but it's fun figuring out new things to be grateful for.
I recently started affirming aloud my gratitude December 2017. Prior to my now consistency- there were things that I was grateful for of course, however with my now daily routine I noticed a significant difference in my feelings. There is a far greater sense of JOY within, that can not be touched. It's magical and some days I say to myself is this for real, why am I feeling so happy within---despite what can occur outside of me? The old saying "nobody can steal your joy" or "if there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do you no harm" couldn't be more true.
From listening to a few great speakers and an amazing life coach of mines, I've noticed that they have all said something along the lines of this --> "most of your days should be good days" and if you are experiencing more bad days than good---you are not in balance with your greater self."
Remember most of our days should be joyous, happy, aliveeee, and loving despite all that is happening in the world because those "good feelings" are our power and when you are feeling good you are adding good energy vibrations to your life and the world around you. Keep a solution mindset! If you don't like something change yourself first, the world will follow. ("BE the change YOU want to see in the world") <-- I know you know this quote.
